Samsung Galaxy F12: Is it the phone you want?

 

Just at the start of April, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy F12, a new budget smartphone with amazing specs. 

Display

The phone comes with a 6.5" IPS LCD Infinity-V display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and 270 ppi. It has a refresh rate of 90 Hz. 

Performance

Samsung Galaxy F12 has the latest octa-core Samsung Exynos 850 processor and comes with 4GB of RAM. It comes equipped with Android 11 and One UI 3.1 out of the box and has an amazing battery life with its 6000mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy F12 also supports fast charging. 

Camera

As for the cameras, the Samsung Galaxy F12 has a quad camera rear setup with a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture; a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The front has a 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies.  

Storage

The Samsung Galaxy F12 packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card to up to 512GB.

The Samsung Galaxy F12 measures 164.00 x 75.90 x 9.70mm (height x width x thickness), a standard size for smartphones. It weighs 221 grams which is a bit on the heavier side.

It has a Glass front and plastic back, and has a plastic frame. 

Colors

The Samsung Galaxy F12 is launched in 3 beautiful colors, Celestial Black, Sea Green, and Sky Blue. 

Connectivity 

Samsung Galaxy F12 include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00. It supports USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G. 

Sensors

The smartphone comes with an inbuilt accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.

The camera also has autofocus, HDR, and flash. 

Security

It comes with a side mounted fingerprint sensor for extra security. It also has a fast face unlock for added protection.
